At GYFL, our focus is developing young athletes and building the skills they need to succeed in football. Whether through our flag football Camps or full league seasons, we offer every child the chance to learn, compete, and excel. We are especially proud to champion the growth of girls’ participation in flag football. As high schools and colleges continue to expand opportunities, we aim to be the starting point that inspires girls of all ages to join the sport and pursue those pathways.

If you’re interested in coaching your child, look no further — we welcome and encourage it. We can’t thank our volunteers enough for the time and energy they give. And if you ever need support, our staff is always available to provide coaching guidance.

When is the game schedule released?

We release the game schedule approximately two weeks before games begin.

Is there a late registration?

Yes — when a team has room, we can sometimes add players after registration closes. Because we must rush equipment orders for late additions, a late fee is required to cover those expedited costs.

Why is there a Non-Resident Fee?

As a nonprofit organization, we work hard to keep costs low for all families. GYFL is a member of the Town of Gilbert Sports Coalition, which provides preferred scheduling, discounted field reservations, and reduced operational costs. To maintain our coalition status, at least 80% of our participants must be Gilbert residents or attend a Gilbert school. Losing this status would significantly increase field expenses and could raise registration fees for everyone. We are committed to controlling costs and keeping GYFL as affordable as possible for all families.
